Our pets can be so expressive, and the camera can pick up on the smallest detail. My goal is to capture moments where they are experiencing positive moments, when they are relaxed, happy to see their favourite human, or excited to get a special treat! Whatever the emotion is, I'll be sure to capture a moment you'll cherish for a lifetime.
I love working with natural light, illuminating animals with a soft glow that makes their eyes sparkle. Especially in an environment where they are the most comfortable, whether that be running through a forest or in the comfort of their own home, wherever your pet can truly feel at ease will produce the best photos!
My Approach
What inspired me to become a pet photographer was my experience with my first rescue dog. She was terrified of the world, but over time she became more confident, her expression softened, and she was finally able to experience true happiness.
Documenting this change brought me so much joy that i wanted to capture it for other dogs in our community and all the foster dogs that would come into our home. The sparkle in their eye when they truly feel happy, especially for the ones who needed a bit more time and patience, is the most beautiful thing in the world.
